The Gold Dust Chronicles
(Release date: September 2019)

From childhood, Tony Convey has had a fascination with geology and Australian gold mining history. In the 1970's while living in the Upper Murray and the Mitta Valley in North East Victoria, he began exploring the mining history of the region and published The Days Of Gold, a history of mining in the Tallangatta district.

Tony continued to research and visit the many ghost towns in Victoria's alpine region and has produced a number of spectacular paintings and prints on the subject in his unique visionary style.

This beautifully produced book documents his research and the fascinating images which illuminate them. Due for publication in May 2018, The Gold Dust Chronicles will offer a fascinating insight into one artist's affinity with the landscape, history and art.
