Hardcover: $60.00 > $6.00 delivery anywhere in Australia "These are wild works, in the sense that they come from places unconcerned with artistic fashion or desire for cultural assimilation." - Colin Rhodes Documenting Sylvia and Tony Convey's graphic work, SPIRIT LINES brings together a selection of drawings, etchings, monoprints, screen prints and collage, many of which have never been seen by the public before. Hidden in sketchbooks and in the artists' studios for decades, much of the work collected in this book will offer viewers a deeper understanding of the unique Convey oeuvre. A project close to the hearts of the artists, SPIRIT LINES also features a major essay about the Conveys' graphic works written by Professor Colin Rhodes. Suitable for the curious, for lovers of visual culture, academics, students and people who challenge accepted ideas about art and human expression.
